Through her blog posts, she hopes to help people learn how to not kill their symptoms, but instead listen to what their body is trying to tell them and seek natural and lasting treatments.
Here is a sneak peak into a few of the topics that we will be discussing in upcoming blogs:
The ancient art of acupuncture has been used in Asia for centuries to treat many conditions and relieve pain.
Acupuncture is one of the most widely used alternative medicines throughout the world, and in simplest terms, acupuncture is the practice of penetrating the skin with small needles at specific points on the body. This stimulates certain nerve endings of the body and can relieve a wide variety of health conditions.
Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) physicians view infertility as encompassing both physiological obstacles and mental blockages. We view the body in a holistic way, and perceive the physical body and the mind as a single entity. Dr. Jordan specializes in women's fertility, and has seen great success over the years in her approach. She believes that no woman should have to suffer in the process of conception, as it should be a beautiful, and natural thing.
Infertility can stem from many sources, such as stress, poor nutrition, lifestyle factors, and environment. For this reason, Dr. Jordan seeks to let women know that there are other, natural alternative treatments through the use of herbs and meridian energy work.
When we have pain, we suffer and feel our quality of life diminish. This does not have to happen.
When we experience physical pain, our first instinct is to mask the pain with over-the-counter pills, pain relievers, and other such methods that are not in accordance with nature. The problem is that although these may temporarily take away the pain, or unpleasant symptoms, they do not actually fix the problem. This is because they do not tackle to the root cause.
In contrast, acupuncture promotes the natural healing process that truly gets to source of the problem in order to provide long-term results. From a holistic approach, most physical pain originates from some type of stagnation within our bodies. Acupuncture, in turn, stops pain by dissolving the stagnation, invigorating the blood and increasing the flow of qi (energy).
Dr. Jordan's dream was to become a gynecologist so that she would be able to help other women suffering from female discomforts. As a TCM physician, she offers care to women of all ages, suffering from a variety of ailments including these gynecological complaints. These issues are something that she believes in very strongly, and she maintains conviction in the fact that all women are beautiful and should all have the ability to be their most beautiful, age gracefully, and live longer.
